Massimiliano Allegri reportedly wants Patrice Erva to join his coaching staff at Man United if he replaces Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager.
Solskjaer is currently under immense pressure at United after leading the club to their worst start to a Premier League campaign in 30 years.
The Red Devils have collected just two wins in eight matches, leaving them sitting 12th on the standings with nine points.
Allegri has now emerged as favourite to replace Solskjaer at Old Trafford should the Manchester club decide to call time on the Norwegian tactician.
The Italian boss is already assembling his coaching staff in readiness for the United job, with Mail Online reporting the the former Juventus manager is keen to bring Evra on board.
In September, Evra made a return to United as a youth coach while he continues to work on his UEFA coaching badges after retiring from active football.
The Frenchman has previously worked under Allegri having played under the Italian at Juventus after leaving Man United.
Meanwhile, the report further added Allegri would want to bring Marco Landucci, who was his assistant at Juve with him to United alongside Evra.
